These seemingly mundane herbs have rather extraordinary associations in folklore. Rosemary, for example may protect against evil spirits, while leaving mint in your wallet is said to bring good fortune.

London-based Fee Greening is an alumna of Central St Martin’s and the Royal College of Art. She uses the age-old method of dip pen and ink in her creations, which are inspired by Medieval, Gothic and Flemish art but with a contemporary twist.
