"One of my favorite things is redrawing packages...I like how I can change the real form and proportions, thus making the packaging funny and memorable."

Sainte Maria is an illustrator based in St. Petersburg, Russia. From Chanel shows through the creations of Gosha Rubchinskyi and Balenciaga to a Carmex lip balm, she takes down the barriers between what is commercial and sophisticated. Infusing art with a sense of infantile purity, her illustrations do not shout to be seen, but somehow grab the eye. Maria captures objects and sceneries in a modern way but always with a dash of whimsy.

Wonderful tea towels and great service!

I am a big fan of Maria's designs, and have a couple of her prints - so when I saw that the towels with her images, I knew I had to have them! The service from Polrka was great - the package arrived on time, and included an extra towel AND a little extra gift from them. There was a bit of a mix up with the exact designs that I ordered, but it was sorted out super-quickly, and everyone had been extremely friendly through out. Thank you so much for your wonderful products and service!
